3 Peaks Fundraiser

3 Peaks Fundraiser

On the 7th of September 2024, a team of brave climbers from Bowdon Vale Cricket Club will be taking on one of the UK’s toughest outdoor challenges – the National 3 Peaks Challenge. This formidable feat will see the team, including three dedicated dads from the club’s U11s team and two other committed members, attempt to conquer the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – all within 24 hours.

The goal? To raise much-needed funds for the club to purchase new cricket nets. These nets are vital for the continued development and success of our young cricketers, providing them with the facilities they need to practice and improve their skills in a safe environment.

This challenge is not for the faint-hearted. The National 3 Peaks Challenge involves a total ascent of over 3,000 meters and a driving distance of more than 450 miles between the peaks. It’s a test of endurance, determination, and teamwork – qualities that our club prides itself on.

But we can’t do it alone. We’re reaching out to our community, friends, and cricket enthusiasts far and wide to support us in this endeavor. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to reaching our goal and making a lasting impact on the future of our club.
