6th May 2023 was a fantastic day for the young cricket enthusiasts of the Vale, as the Dynamos and All Stars - ECB training programme returned to the area. It was wonderful to see so many young faces at the event, and even more wonderful to see the excitement and enthusiasm with which they approached the game.
The Dynamos and All Stars programme is a fantastic initiative by the ECB, designed to get young children excited about cricket and develop their skills in a fun and friendly environment. And yesterday's event certainly lived up to its reputation, with children of all ages and abilities taking part in a range of activities and games.
As always, the focus of the day was on having fun and learning new skills. The young cricketers were split into groups and given the opportunity to try out a range of different activities, including batting, bowling, fielding, and teamwork exercises. And it was clear from the smiles on their faces that they were having a great time.
Of course, the success of the programme wouldn't be possible without the hard work and dedication of the coaches and volunteers who give up their time to make it happen. They did an incredible job yesterday, providing guidance and support to the young cricketers and creating a safe and welcoming environment for them to learn and play.
Overall, it was a great day for everyone involved in the Dynamos and All Stars programme. The children had a fantastic time, the coaches and volunteers did an amazing job, and it was wonderful to see the community come together in support of this fantastic initiative. We can't wait to do it all again next week!
