Cheshire Disabled CC v. Shropshire Disabled CC on 11th July

Bowdon Vale Cricket Club hosted its first representative disability cricket match at Priory Street on 11th July.

The teams played a 30-over format in the National Disabled Cricket League Super 9's Midlands and North Region.  Cheshire won the toss and decided to bat first making 90 in their 30 overs, lead by Ronny Abbott. Shropshire raced to the total thanks to an inspired 28 from Greg Lloyd, who was Shropshire’s Player of the Match.

Congratulations to Shropshire and comiserations to Cheshire. Well done & thanks go to both teams for your entertaining performances. BVCC hopes to welcome back both teams in 2022.
