Bowdon Vale Vikings v Warrington at home: Match tied both teams get 3 points

A dramatic ending to a thrilling game. Reminiscent of the England world cup win for drama with a last ball run out. After a steady start (Ollier 31*) the Vale middle order kicked on with some big hitting from Jordan and Dey but the innings faltered in the last couple of overs setting a just below par score of 115. Warrington set off in much quicker fashion and looked like they would finish things off with overs to spare, but 4 great catches (G Roberts, Hitchen, Hodson and Tammam) and 3 run outs as well as some very tight bowling towards the end (Tammam and C Roberts) kept the pressure on the opposition. Warrington needed 10 to win off the last 3 but only managed 9, 3 off each of the last 3 overs. Debut for CHRIS Hodson

Vikings 115/6 (20 overs): Ollier 31*, Dey 22, Jordan 27, Mohan 4-23

Warrington 115/8 (20): Shah 32*, Lawton 23, Ollier 2-14 (4)
