Vikings win for the third week running and remain undefeated and top of the league.
This time by 8 wickets with an over and a bit to spare. AOM elected to bat and started slowly thanks to more economical bowling from Quinn conceding just 4 runs off his 4 overs (2-4). A middle order flurry from Savage (31*) and Tuff 29 was tamed by the Vale once again taking timely wickets, Tammam (3-18, 4.0) and Jordan (2-24, 4.0) backed up by good catching and two stumpings.
Vale lost Sen early but Webb (30*) doggedly saw off the AOM opening bowlers while Dey (24) and then Bottomley (29*) and Thorpe (15*) made sure the Vikings were always up with the run rate. A huge straight 6 from Bottomley in the 17th over took the pressure off for the final overs.
